A phonetic Arabic keyboard more closely resembles the sounds and shapes of the US English QWERTY keyboard.
It is extremely helpful if you do not type in Arabic on a regular basis, and it is without a doubt
more intuitive than the Arabic 101 keyboard which comes with your computer.

To write Arabic on your computer, first follow the instructions to add the font, and then add a display for an Arabic-letter keyboard. This will be your guide to matching your English-letter keyboard to the Arabic alphabet.
